Five Important News Updates
(1) C-SPAN UPDATE
C-SPAN is currently planning to air Thursday's Minnesota presidential debates with John Hagelin, hosted by Jesse Ventura, this Sunday, October 1, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
To check the latest scheduling information, please call the station's viewer hotline at 765-464-3080 or visit the C-SPAN website scheduling page at http://inside.c-spanarchives.org:8080/cspan/cspan.csp?command=dschedule. To comment on programming, please call 765-464-3080 or email C-SPAN viewer services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As you know, Thursday's debates were scheduled to be broadcast live by C-SPAN at 7:00 p.m. Central time. Late Thursday afternoon, just hours before the debates began, we were informed by C-SPAN that the debates would not be aired live but would be taped for later broadcast. As we've mentioned in earlier news flashes, news stations reserve the right to make last- minute changes in their schedules, and we may not be able to notify you in time about these changes. (This statement applies, of course, to C-SPAN's Sunday schedule as well.) We apologize for the inconvenience to those of you who tuned in Thursday night, and we hope you'll be able to enjoy the debates this weekend.
