Hagelin at Reform Party Conventions and Debates

John Hagelin continues to build strong support among Reform Party members for his coalition candidacy for President. We urge all his supporters across the U.S. to attend their state's Reform Party conventions and to uphold John's efforts to create the most powerful third party coalition in American history.

Charlotte, NC
  Event: State Convention of The Reform Party of North Carolina
Date: Saturday, June 17, 2000

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Presidential candidates speak at 2:00 p.m.; one-hour candidate "meet and greet" session from 3:00-4:00 p.m.)

Notes: The Sheraton convention room holds 400 people, so we would like a very strong showing of John Hagelin's Pennsylvania supporters.
 
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
  Event: Reform Party of California State Convention
Date: Saturday, June 3, 2000
Time: 12:30-3:30 p.m. (Candidates begin speaking at 1:00 p.m. A lunch and workshop will be held in the same hall from 12:00-1:00 p.m., so come early to assure yourself a seat.)

Notes: The convention runs from June 2 to June 4, with the presidential forum beginning at 1:00 p.m. on June 3. A lunch and workshop will precede the forum (cost: $15). The three-day convention will also include elections of presidential electors at 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Directions: Coming in on I-40 (east or west), take the Hudiburg exit. Rose State College lies just north of the interstate and parallels the frontage road. So from Hudiburg Drive, travel north and turn right into the Rose State campus. The Tom Steed building sits closest to the frontage road as you drive into the main campus.
Agenda: Registration ends at 12:00 noon, when the convention begins with a welcoming message from the state chair. Presidential candidates will begin speaking at 12:30 p.m.; each will have 30 minutes. Afterwards, elections will be held for officers and for delegates to the national convention.
Notes: All convention attendees must check in at the front desk. You must be registered with your county as a Reform Party member to vote at this convention. If you have not yet registered, please go to your county election board to register prior to the convention; get a copy of your registration form and bring it with you as proof of Reform Party membership.
 
IOWA REFORM PARTY STATE CONVENTION
  Location: Greenwood, Indiana
Date: Saturday, April 15, 2000
Time: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.; presidential candidates begin speaking at 2:15 p.m.)
Place: Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria, Greenwood, Indiana (1/4 mile west of the Greenwood exit [exit 99] from I-65, on the south side of the street, next to Stout's RV)
Speakers: John Hagelin, Pat Buchanan, George Boots, Robert Bowman, Harvey Carroll Jr., Ken Dixon, Bill Pearman
Cost:

Free admission. Lunch can be purchased at the cafeteria.

Notes: The morning of the Convention will be a business meeting that will include amending by-laws and electing district organizers, delegates to the national convention, and a state chairman. To vote at the Convention, you must be a registered voter and a member in good standing of the Reform Party (membership costs $5). Lunch will be cafeteria style at 1:00 p.m. Presidential candidates will speak from 2:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (about 20 minutes per candidate).
 
WISCONSIN REFORM PARTY STATE CONVENTION
  Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Date: Saturday, April 8, 2000
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (registration begins at 9:00 a.m.; presidential candidates begin speaking at 1:00 p.m.)

Purpose: At this convention, Reform Party members will elect delegates to the national convention and will also elect state and district party officers.
Notes: Only Wisconsin citizens who have been Reform Party registered members for at least six months may participate in the vote. However, even new Reform Party members may be elected as officers and/or delegates.
 
INDIANA REFORM PARTY STATE CONVENTION

Notes: Minnesotans who will be eligible to vote in the November 2000 elections will be invited to support the founding of the Reform Party of Minnesota and to elect interim officers, national committee members, and statewide national convention delegates. Other interested citizens may attend as guests.
 
ILLINOIS REFORM PARTY DEBATE
